Ethnobarometer is an independent, international research network of social scientists and experts providing reports on contemporary European:

It monitors events, highlights areas of tension and identifies relevant topics for further inquiry. The project was promoted in 1997 by the CSS, Consiglio italiano per le Scienze Sociali (Italy).

Our purpose is not to offer specific policy advice. Rather we seek to lay out an accurate and objective reading of the issues with a special attention to their social, political and cultural factors as well as to the historical contexts in which they develop, and thus establish the analytical bedrock upon which effective policy can be devised.
